Tamil Nadu School reopening from October 1 with proposed social norms – Minister K.A.Sengottaiyan.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that 10th to Eleventh and Plus Two students in Tamil Nadu can come to school on a voluntary basis.

General Secretary Shanmugam has issued an order to split into two groups and come to school three days a week.

It has also issued some guidelines regarding students coming to school. Students from 10th to 12th will be divided into two groups.

One group can come to school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Another group on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Meanwhile, Teachers should also split into two groups and take classes for students. The first group will take classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the second group on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tamil Nadu School Reopening: Social gaps should be followed in the classroom and on school campuses.

Regarding the college opening, University Grants Commission (UGC) has made an announcement to start the new academic session for freshers from November 1.

However, many colleges and schools have been functioning from September on a trial basis in most states of the country amidst CoVid-19.

Minister of school education K. A. Sengottaiyan said, based on the expert committee’s report, the current Curriculum has been reduced by 40 per cent, which is to reduce the burden of the school students.

Meanwhile, the CoronaVirus death toll counted 66 with 5692 new positive cases, according to the reports issued by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu.
