Second DMK MLA to confirm COVID 19 in Tamil Nadu: Coronavirus is not differentiating between ADMK or DMK and is attacking MLAs and ministers now. Today June 20, DMK Rishivanthiyam constituency MLA Vasantham Karthikeyan is confirmed with COVID 19. Already DMK has lost their Chennai DMK strongman and MLA J. Anbalagan to COVID 19.
Earlier higher education minister K. Anbalagan was allegedly confirmed to have been infected by a coronavirus, but he has denied it. The law minister C V Shanmugam has tested negative for COVID 19 for the test taken on June 18 at Apollo Hospitals. In Delhi, its health minister Satyendra Jain is recovering after administering plasma therapy to treat him for COVID 19.
Lockdown – Unlock down – Coronavirus infection
When the lockdown started as early as March 25, there were only less than 1000 coronavirus infections. It steadily increased to one lakh until May 19. With many relaxations, it increased by two lakhs to reach 3 lakh infections until last week.
With the unlocking down-1, the increase in coronavirus infections from June 13, June 20 of just seven days, it has increased by another one lakh to cross 4,10,000 now. This rapid rise of coronavirus in India is even after the sufferings of the millions of migrants and loss of livelihood of several crores of people.
DMK’s second MLA to be confirmed with COVID 19: DMK party cadres with their guidance from their MLAs have been helping coronavirus affected people in many parts of Tamil Nadu. In particular, J.Anbalagan MLA was active in supporting the most affected Chennai people. But the deadly pathogen did not even leave him and killed him recently. Now it is Vasantham Karthikeyan, DMK’s Rishivandiyam MLA, who has been confirmed with COVID 19.
Rishivandiyam is in Kallakurichi, and this district currently has 366 Infections and one death so far. First, the district SP and two staff of the government hospital were confirmed with COVID 19. Then the wife and daughter of the MLA were confirmed with the disease. Now the MLA and his 65-year-old mother have tested positive to COVID 19.
With the number of cases rising in many districts across Tamil Nadu in the past few days is dangerous. If not controlled now, it could end up in a catastrophe is the opinion of experts.
