FREE RATION in Tamil Nadu, June 2020: All the essentials for the month of June for the cardholders in Tamil Nadu, such as sugar 1Kg, dal 1kg, cooking oil 1L, rice will always be supplied to the family cardholders with additional rice.
CoronaVirus phobia has been an unending global pandemic right from March 23, 2020 till date. Tamilnadu, along with the Central government of India, is actively involved in controlling the spread of CoVid-19 by implementing several preventive and pulling out measures under the Disaster Management Act.
Considering the forthcoming economic depression due to the novel CoronaVirus, Tamilnadu C.M.Edappadi K Palanisamy, under the guidance of Ministers and Secretaries, announced relief measures with a sum of 1200 Crores to all the ration holders of Tamilnadu.
The relief measures mainly covered 1000 rupees to each family cardholders along with no cost rice, cereal, oil and sugar for April and May months. Almost 96.35 percentage of ration card holders gained benefit from the CoVid relief scheme to tackle the economic lockdown.
Since the country gradually steps to the end of 4th lockdown with 4 days on May 31, Tamil Nadu government, besides extension or relaxing curfew, has concluded to satisfy the people’s daily ends for June month as well.
In this context, TN government further supports the common public with 1 kg rice, 1 kg sugar, 1 kg cereal and 1 litre oil free of cost along with the additional groceries as per the family card requirement.
Ensuring the wellness of people in mind from the contagious CoVid, the Tamilnadu government made necessary measures in receiving the ration groceries systemically.
Accordingly, Tokens will be issued door to door directly from May 29 to 31,2020 and the people can acquire things based on the receipt dates from June 1, 2020.
With day by day increase in CoVid count, Tamilnadu marks 592 new cases along with passengers returned from other states tested positive today (Maharashtra-35, Kerala-1, Gujarat-6, Delhi-2, Telangana – 3, Uttar Pradesh – 2).
Also, passengers returning from other countries initially tested negative and turned positive on the exit test today (Dubai – 5), marking the total positive count to 646 today. The number of active cases hikes to 8256 with nine deaths yesterday alone.
However, Tamilnadu C.M is kindly getting ready to sign 17 Mutual understanding treaties with foreign countries who engage in business ventures inside the State.
