Washington Sundar is all to set to make his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in Mohali now. BCCI had officially announced it on the twitter page. The Chennai boy is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spinner who played for the India national under-19 cricket team as a Batsman.
It is 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka. There is no change in Sri Lanka side and India roped Washington Sundar instead of wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
Sundar had become 7th youngest India ODI debut at 18 years and 69 days. Sri Lanka had won the toss and will bowl first. Rohit Sharma is heading the team and has players Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal.
