What is hot about NASA? Mars mission or Moon mission? The answer is both Mars and Moon mission simultaneously being undertaken by the US Space Agency NASA. As we all know, it was Americans who landed first on Moon. In the same way, America seems to maintain its prestige by landing first on Mars. According to the recent announcement made in national space conference by NASA new Administrator Jim Bridenstine, sending humans to Mars is first prior to moon although Trump wished to do moon mission before a Mars trip.
NASA intends to improve the transportation to the moon and the orbit. Both the missions are being carried out side by side so that the improved technologies used for one can be used for other ensuring longtime support, precision landing, surface mobility and habitation, says Bridenstine. He further added that Space Launch System is being developed in Alabama for the Mars mission. By July 2020, "Mars 2020 rover" would be sent to Mars to collect the samples of soils on Mars and trace any pieces of evidence of life on Mars.
A NASA program for tracking greenhouse gases has been cancelled by Trump administration, as reported by NASA on Thursday. The US Space Agency reasoned out the budget constraints for the cancellation. This raised high criticism of the Trump Administration as already four Earth Science Projects were cut down in 2017 and also people would not forget the exit of America from 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement.
