Former Chief Minister J.Jayalalith died a day before the official announcement.

Sasikala’s brother Divakaran had lighted up another fire in the death case of former Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha. In a public meeting held at Mannargudi on MGR’s 101th birth anniversary. Divakaran said, that Amma (J.Jayalaitha) had died on 5:15 pm December 4, 2016 where it was officially announced by the hospital management on December 5, 2016 considering their safety and security.

He said, Amma had been kept in ventilator till the official declaration. When Divakaran inquired Apollo hospital’s chairman Dr. Prathap C Reddy about the death declaration on December 4 but Reddy asked him to ensure the safety of their branches and refused to declare the death.

As a reaction to Divakaran’s statement management of Apollo hospitals had kept forward a statement today.

The hospital statement said, all standard clinical protocols and norms had been followed during her treatment, even her unfortunate death was also declared as per the standard clinical protocols. A process of inquiry is being conducted through all facts that lead to her demise and the hospital likes to clarify the matter earlier in the interest of knowing the truth and justice.

Still some unnecessary confusions are being created are mainly based on some misinformation on the date and time of Jayalalitha’s death. In that statement it was clearly stated that former CM J.Jayalalitha had died only on December 5.
