Andhra Pradesh observing bandh against the union budget.
Andhra Pradesh State is observing a state wide bandh for marking their opposition of the union budget proposed by the central government. Leftist parties have called for a state wide bandh on February 8, 2018. Following the call of CPI and CPI (M), opposition party YSR congress and some other smaller parties have joined their protest. The leftist requested the ruling party to join hands and changed its stance and arranged a rally to show their opposition to the budget.
The Telungu Desam Party MPs are protesting in the parliament against Prime Minister, Narendra Modi by shouting slogans. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had issued orders to shutdown the schools and colleges allover the state as a holiday. Orders have been issued for the police department to make security arrangements in order to prevent the public disturbing situations.
The leftists' shutdown call hits the normal life of the state but partially. The people have closed down their shops by their own in showing their support. Transport services are totally locked in by the bandh, most of the government and private buses are off the street today. Schools and Colleges are closed down. However health service had no infection of the bandh.
A statement according to the bandh by Union Minister and TDP leader YS Chowdhary says that they will fight to get their due. Mr. Naidu had discussed his opinion with his party members that he asked his party members to make a strong standby against the union budget until the justice be obtained and asked them to continue their protesting in parliament.
