Yemaali And Madura Veeran To Clash With Vijay Sethupathi
Samuthirakani’s 2 movies Yemaali and are set to release on the same date. Yemaali team had confirmed its release date and it is to hit theatres on Feb 2nd while Madura Veeran that was earlier slated as Pongal release had pushed back and scheduled for Feb 2.
Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathi’s much expected tribal comedy drama is also slated for the same date. And there expected heavy clashes for these movies on the week end. It features Gautham Karthik, Niharika Konidela, Gayathrie Shankar in main roles apart from Sethupathi.
Directed by Arumuga Kumar, the movie has Justin Prabhakaran music and produced by 7C Entertainment Pvt Ltd associated with Amma Narayana Productions.
Yemaali, it is a romantic thriller directed by VZ Durai which has Samuthirakani in lead role. Athulya Ravi is a female lead while Sam Jones, Bala Saravanan, Singampuli are in supporting roles. The National Award winning actor Samuthirakani is said to have different role and getup for this film.
Madura Veeran, is certified with U before Pongal and the team waited for the sufficient amount of theatres. They have decided to push back the movie since there is high competition during Pongal. The movie is about the Jallikattu in a village.
It also portrays the huge historic Jallikattu protest that happened on Jan 2017. The movie features Vijayakanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian in lead role along with Samuthirakani. PG Muthaiya, cinematographer cum director had helmed and produced by V Studios. The movie’s single track which was released by PV Sindhu and Sivakarthikeyan had been reached very well.
