Trouble In Releasing Etharkum Thuninthavan Movie In Theatres Starring Suriya

Here comes the hurdle in the release of Suriya's action thriller movie 'Etharkum Thuninthavan'. Jai Bhim is a movie released last year starring actor Surya directed by TJ Gnanavel produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the banners of 2D Entertainment. 

Jai Bhim movie faced so many controversies. Many audiences, viewers and celebrities appreciated the work made by the movie crew. It was also alleged that Jai Bhim was against the Vanniyar Sangam.

In this connection, the Rajya Sabha MP, the leader of the PMK youth Anbumani Ramadoss issued a statement in it; he had raised many questions to Surya. He said the film was made to discredit a particular society in the report. 

Actor Surya also released a statement in response to Anbumani. In it, as Anbumani points out, the film crew and himself have no intention of insulting any individual or community. We immediately corrected the error pointed out by the narrator. I agree with Anbumani's view that creative freedom does not give anyone the right to insult. 

However, the PMK continued to stage protests against Surya in various districts across Tamil Nadu. In this situation, a petition has been filed in the court on behalf of PMK seeking a ban on the release of the film 'Etharkum Thuninthavan' starring actor Surya in Cuddalore. 

Surya has demanded that the film should not be allowed to air unless the people of Vanniyar apologize. A request has been made on behalf of PMK not to let the movie be aired until actor Surya apologizes to the Vanniyar Sangam people. Etharkum Thuninthavan movie is scheduled to release on March 10, which is tomorrow. The tickets for this movie are filled fast, and in some theatres the screens are houseful.

Actor Suriya fans are ready to celebrate the movie. This movie Etharkum Thuninthavan holds many leading and familiar faces in lead roles. The casts are Suriya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay Rai, Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Madhusudhan Rao, Jayaprakash, Hareesh Peradi, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, M. S. Bhaskar, Soori, Redin Kingsley, Pugazh, Vela Ramamoorthy, Sai Dheena, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, Ilavarasu, Subbu Panchu, Saran Shakthi and Tiger Thangadurai.
