The well known Indian filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj and his son Shanthanu are joining up for a new film venture in Kollywood this 2020. The pooja of the film is done right today in Chennai along with the new team members starring in, and the photos roam around the internet surface virally.
Being 80’s director, Bhagyaraj has directed many biggies in the Indian cinema industry like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and many more hit films on the list. Apart from this, the hit filmmaker grossed and acted in many new-age films as a strong notable supporting actor.
The father-son duo is now engaged in the new yet-untitled project starring Shanthanu and Athulya Ravi alongside Bhagyaraj in the lead roles. Sources also reveal that the new film under Sreejar direction plots mainly around the first-night rituals carried out after marriage. Ravinder Chandrasekar produces the film under the banner of Libra Productions.
The untitled film also co-stars Yogi Babu, Madhumitha, Reshma, Mayilswamy, Anandaraj, Manobala, Mottai Rajendran, and many more to join the new age storyline under the lenses of Ramesh Chakravarthy.
Though this is not the first time to witness Shanthanu and Bhagyraj on the big screen, its been ages and decades now after acting in Vettiya Madichu Kattu movie starring Child Shanthanu and his real-time father to act as a reel, also, the intriguing director of his times, K. Bhagyaraj has directed casting his son Shanthanu in Siddhu +2 in the year 2010. After completing and struggling a decade solidly, Shanthanu is coming back with films on the silver screen via this new decade of 2020.
Actor Shanthanu was now noted in Vaanam Kottatum movie under the banner of Madras Talkies in silver screens last month. Besides, the die-hard Vijay fan is now co-starring his Thalapathy in the upcoming and most expected film of the year Master directed by Kaithi maker Lokesh Kanagaraj.
