5 Lakh Indian IT Employees Are Under Deportation

More than 5,00,000 Indian IT employees are in the edge of deportation from America following the new restrictions applied on H-1B visa.

H-1B VISA, A non-Immigrant visa generally preferred by IT employees who are working in United States. Approximately the time period of an H-1B visa is up to 3 to 6 years but the visa holders who applied for the citizenship can extend the time period.

In 2016 election campaign of Donald Trump he was going to impose strong restrictions on immigration. Now as a part his new initiative "Buy Americans, Hire American", The American government had imposed strict rules over H-1B visa that made the selection process for the visa even tougher. President Donald Trump has concluded from now there will be no extension of time period for H-1B visa to prevent its misuse. This made the IT professionals to worry who are currently working at US IT companies. Following the new imposement of rule more than 5,00,000 Indians are left in the situation to open up their jobs.

R.Chandrashekhar, President of NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies), said that H-1B VISA Bill had created troublesome situation. We don't know the exact date of amendment of this bill but it may be gen amended in early 2018.

Reason for the Amendment of this bill is mainly for the protection of American Employees and its really a critical situation for Indian employees. NASSCOM had shared its concern with American senate and authorities. And we will start further interaction within two months said by the President of NASSCOM.
